Jennifer offers a free 15-minute phone consultation so you can get a better sense of who she is and how she would help you before you schedule your first appointment. Dr. Sue Johnson Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) is a research based approach to couples counseling. EFT is based in attachment theory and provides a structured framework in which counselors guide clients toward learning new patterns of behavior utilizing emotions. Research into EFT has shown 70-75% of couples move from distress to recovery and 90% report significant improvements in the relationship.
